Prayer Shawl Ministry: Call for Knitters!

Did you know the Cathedral has a Prayer Shawl ministry? Members knit prayer shawls that are kept at the Cathedral. The shawls are blessed at a Sunday Eucharist service and available from the office for anyone to gift to a friend or family member needing the comfort of prayers and love.

As a result of the Covid hiatus, our supply of shawls has dwindled, but the need for the shawls has not! If you are a knitter and would be interested in providing one knit shawl please contact Nicky Seppala, the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@thecatheral.ca to let her know you are on board. 

This ministry is also looking for a new coordinator. There are no meetings, agendas or minutes involved with this ministry, Just keeping track of who is knitting and touching base periodically.If you are interest in taking on this role, please contact the volunteer coordinator.
