The beloved service of Compline begins again on Easter Sunday at 8pm. Compline is the traditional "night prayer" of monastic orders, sung just prior to retiring for sleep. In common with Morning and Evening Prayer, Compline includes versicles and responses, scripture readings, psalms, and a canticle (usually the Nunc dimittis). The mood is peaceful and reflective, and the service lasts for approximately 30 minutes. The service is sung by the Cathedral Compline Choir.
We invite you to attend in-person - there is no livestream available.
Please note: there is no Sundays@4 service on Easter Sunday. View the Sundays@4 schedule here.
