As the Season of Creation unfolds (September 1 to October 4), we invite you to consider the Learning Modules that have been produced as part of our Creation Care: Climate Action education focus.
In year one of our education focus we explored the intersections between climate change and food security. In year two, we focussed on climate change and gender. In the third and final year we will examine the intersections of climate change and health; how planetary and ecosystem health – or lack thereof – directly affect human health.
This is the first of two learning modules for this theme, and it focuses on the Communion Forest initiative of the worldwide Anglican Communion. We will explore the importance of trees and reforestation by learning from our partners, reflecting biblically, and considering opportunities for action and giving.
