There will be a three staffing changes at the Cathedral this month: 

-Carol Anne Mercier has decided to restructure her working in order to spend more time at home with her family. However, Carol Anne is not leaving the Cathedral community. She will transition out of her role as Parish Administrator on December 3 and in the new year she will join the Communications team to fill the part-time Communications Specialist position. She will work remotely, and her role will be focused on writing and proofreading content for the Cathedral’s newsletters and other platforms. Her email will remain carol@thecathedral.ca

-After a search process, the Cathedral leadership is pleased to announce Carlos Ferreira has been hired as the new, full-time Parish Administrator, effective December 3. Carlos comes to us with extensive administration and project management experience in church and business settings. He will be on-site full time and looks forward to meeting everyone on Sundays in December. Effective December 3, Carlos can be reached at carlos@thecathedral.ca or 604.682.3848 ext. 19

-After much discernment, Ian Thompson has decided to step down as the full time Outreach Worker with The Maundy Ministries, effective December 17. Ian will be focusing on his studies full time. Ian considers the Cathedral and The Maundy his community, and will continue to be involved as a volunteer.
