The Eve of St. Mary the Virgin
(also known as "The Falling Asleep of the Blessed Virgin Mary," "The Dormition of the Mother of God," or "The Assumption of the Virgin Mary").

We are delighted to host the choir of the Canadian Renaissance Music Summer Schools Pacific Course to sing Choral Evensong in the Cathedral.

Directed by course founder Greg Skidmore, the repertoire will include:

Robert Parsons (c.1535-72): Magnificat from The First Service
William Byrd (1540-1623): Nunc dimittis from Gradualia
Peter Philips (c.1560-1628): "Gaude Maria virgo"

All are welcome to attend. This service is offered in-person only. Livestream will not be available.
