Christ Church Cathedral is equipped with a number of accessibility features. *Please note that during construction you will need to access the building by walking through the scaffolding tunnels.*

Parking

Free parking is available for Cathedral Services at Park Place Parkade (660 Hornby St.) on Sundays 7am-8:30pm and weekdays after 6:00pm with a Cathedral Parking Pass. Parking passes are available from greeters, from the Cathedral office, or you can download a parking pass by clicking on this link. The Parking Pass must be displayed on the dash of your vehicle while in the parkade.

You may need to access the parkade after hours by going to the front vestibule at Park Place 666 Burrard and pressing the buzzer for security. The elevators will take you to the parking level.

Transit

The Cathedral is well-served by public transit. Details of routes and schedules may be found at: www.translink.ca or using the Transit App on your smartphone.

Wheelchair Ramp

A wheelchair ramp is located at the east door on Georgia St. HandyDart, taxi and car drop-off is available in the lane to the east of the church.

Accessible Washroom

The Cathedral is equipped with accessible washrooms on both the main and lower levels. On the main level, the accessible washroom is located through and to the right of the east vestibule. On the lower level, accessible toilet facilities are found in the main washrooms, at the south end of the building.

Elevator

An elevator is located through and to the right of the east vestibule to access the lower level exit onto Burrard street. Access to the elevator from the lower level can be found at the northeast corner of the building through the corridor past the kitchen and parish hall. Signs in the corridor mark the way.

ASL Interpretation

An ASL interpreter communicates the 10:30am service from a location in front of the ambo (lectern). A loop system is in place in the nave and chancel – simply adjust the settings of your personal hearing device. Large-print books and bulletins are available from greeters prior to the 10:30am service.

Kneeler Cushions

Cushions are available in the Narthex for those who wish to kneel during prayer.

Children & Youth

Activities for children of all ages are available during the 10:30am service. Click here for further details.

After the Services

Coffee and tea are served in the Parish Hall (lower level) following the services. All are welcome!
A newcomers coffee hour takes place in the upper level the second Sunday of the month after the 10:30am service.

If You Are Visiting

If you are visiting and are interested in becoming a member or a Friend of the Cathedral, you are invited to fill in a connection card. Connection cards are available at the Narthex table in the entryway, and from our Cathedral greeters. You can fill it in and add it to the collection plate, the connection card display box or hand it to one of the greeters.
