The Maundy Café at Christ Church Cathedral consists of both a sit-down soup lunch and a take-away Sandwich window. Throughout the year, these ministries provide food for those who, for whatever reason, find themselves in need of conversation, a bowl of hot nourishing soup, a sandwich and a cup of coffee.
We offer soup, a sandwich and coffee seated in the Parish Hall, accessed via the lower level Burrard Street entrance
Wednesdays and Thursdays (11.30am to 12.15pm)
Note: The Sit-Down Lunches do not operate on statutory holidays
Take-Away Sandwich Window
We offer a free sandwich and coffee as a take-away from the window inside the lower level Burrard Street entrance.
Monday, Tuesday and Friday (10.00am to 11.00am)
Note: The Take-Away Sandwich Window does not operate on statutory holidays
All food is prepared at the Cathedral in accordance to the Province of BC’s Food Safe regulations using fresh ingredients ordered from a local deli or wholesaler. We serve approximately 400 sandwiches each week, by two servers each day.
